Practice of the Month

Organs and Bones

Begin this practice by standing moving to easy-going rhythmic music. Be aware of your breath. Once you feel your body in motion and it starts to move on its own, bring your attention to your ribs, spine and pelvis. Be aware first of the bones. Be aware as you move of how the bones house your organs, how they compress the organs then stretch them. After you have worked with the feeling of the bones for while, shift your attention to your organs. Feel how the organs push the bones apart then draw them together.

Music Recommendation

Sahara Lounge

A groovy synthesized collection; mellow for dancing active for fluid yoga but works for both.

Testimonial of the Month

Gayla Reilly, retired military officer, Fairhaven, MA

This was my first intro to a movement sensation workshop. I explored places I never knew were there/not there…Soooo nice. I was looking for a safe and welcoming environment and yes, I received it, felt it. The workshop exceeded my expectations. Words cannot describe. I discovered I have the ability to allow the music/movement to take me to a free and especially calming place. To let go completely without judgement by anyone is wonderful…but at the same time to connect with others…WOW… the sense of joy!
