We learn that the infinity of self is a real thing. Each day, doing the same thing, we feel different. We see that each day is different and that each day the differences of the day, and how they entwine with our awareness, are a creative unfolding. Perhaps the day is changing us. Perhaps we are changing the day. We are growing slightly older each day but what does that mean? Are we in motion more now than before? Are we more sensitive, more awake? Is that what it means to be older? To be able to understand more, to let go more? Does growing older simply mean that we finally become aware that we are not finite just as we become aware that that time in which we can experience this awareness is finite? =================== Reflections from Dancemeditation Retreat "This Monday I remembered that this time soon would end. I remembered my life, my outdoor voice, that soon would unfold. Last Friday I found myself touched by life by me. I found my inside voice, the real me. This place, this time, I have belonged more than ever before. I am home, I am happy and I am healed. It’s not easy being 16 but my road has smoothed. It’s funny how one week can change your direction. This week opened my eyes." -- JH, aged 16 =================== Music Recommendations Mercan Dede, "Sufi Traveler". Dede draws heavily on Turkish, Persian & sufi sources. Beauitful and powerful. =================== Testimonials of the Month "Dear Dunya, Thank you for your workshop and for your beautiful veil dance. The more I go to your workshops the more wonderfully things are opening for me. I would say that the main thing that I learned is - LETTING GO or SURRENDERING. I tried to do it before many times through the mind but I simply didn't know what was necessary to do. As I practice your Dancemeditation more this LETTING GO feeling increases and stays longer in everyday life. It's like swimming in the ocean or flying in the sky...so big, so beautiful... Yesterday I was returning home by metro. I was sitting still in a meditative state. There were many people and many were talking emotionally. Suddenly I saw their bodies and mostly hands that were dancing in the most interesting ways, creating all sorts of patterns. But people did not understand that they were dancing, they were so many involved into talking. If it is my craziness, I would be happy to live and die like that. With Love and Best wishes in everything you do, Olga" =================== And that is the end of our newsletter. Thank you very much!
