Breath focus is a Dancemeditation cornerstone. A common theme pervading many meditation traditions, breathing is
central to the entirety of living, indeed it defines life. Frequently,
however, moving and breathing are only coordinated in aerobic
activities. In Dancemeditation, we bring awareness to the continuous base note of breathing inside our moving bodies and experiment with different relationships to that pulse. Breath Dance practices can constitute an entire course of study or be included with other foci.
