The 2008 Summer Movement Monastery, a two-week retreat, meets at the Mill & Mansion in Philmont, NY.

The Mill is an extraordinary 19th century ediface overlooking a rushing river bordered by an evocative ruin on one side. This will be our second year in this truly unique, breathtaking, soul-giving environment. Housing will be at the Harder Mansion, also an exquisite Victorian site. Accommodations include bedrooms in the Mansion (most rooms house 2-4 people per room with beds or mattresses on the floor, and shared bathrooms with bathtubs), as well as tenting in the Carriage Barn. (Bring Your Own Tent and camping mat to set up inside. No tents outdoors on the Mansion lawn. Bathrooms are in the Mansion.)

These spots are limited, so timely registeration is advised. You may also choose to billet at nearby B&Bs or motel.
