Dancemeditation™ is well-suited to these trying times. It is medicine. It soothes our nervous systems, helping us find our ground, our solid sense of being-ness. This is crucial right now in a disrupted world.
In these sessions, we move through the powerful Dancemeditation™ process of Relaxation, Receptivity, Reciprocity and Rest.
About Zoom: It’s not that hard. And it is a real blessing to be able to move side-by-side at a distance. Give yourself 15′ to download it and learn a few settings before we meet.
Dancemeditation™ is excellent medicine for these trying times. This deepening, embodying process helps us regenerate, heal, and trust ourselves. We come home to our root being-ness. Without words, with beautiful music, with eyes open or closed, in the continual flow of breath awareness, we move through the crust of harried worries and into our huge spiritual intelligence. Body speaks to us from the flow of our most Original self. Then we rest and knit together. Dunya’s powerful guidance ushers participants into their depths, their aliveness, their embodied presence.
Meditations include: Breath Dances, Rocking, Sufi Hand Dances, Deep State Movement Meditations, Vibration & Wave Form Motion, Deep Rest.
About Dunya: Dunya Dianne McPherson is Shattari Master Teacher and Founder of Dancemeditation™. Juilliard BFA and NEA Choreography Fellow, Dunya’s teaching credits include Princeton University, Swarthmore College, New York University, Hunter College, Barnard College, Kripalu, and others. Dunya holds an MA in writing and is the author of Skin of Glass: Finding Spirit in the Flesh.
