“Dancemeditation is like exploring a dark but safe cave where I discover gems of indescribable beauty.” —Chava

It is with delight that I envision moving with you. After a year focused intently on my own body–a wonderful and, indeed, necessary project!–I feel refreshed and ready. Wordless, in the sea of deepening music, carried by awareness of  breathing, we pass through our crust of harried worries into an enormity of being that can heal and inspire us. I look forward to sharing some of my year’s journey of self- care, and providing guidance, supported personal time, and community.

The format will be as you know it: guided practices to sink within, followed by time to unfold and explore on our own. Always we take time to Rest. If you are new to Dancemeditation, join us, welcome, and I look forward to your company.

European friends, the Saturdays are at a reasonable time for you. US West Coast you may need to roll out of bed. We will have a 30′ Tea Talk following for those who wish to stay and visit.

What We Will Do
The workshop begins with Dunya leading a period of relaxing, wordless instruction to focus participants attention followed by a few simple, rich moving meditations to sink down a couple of notches inside the self, touching Self. A generous time for participants to do their own exploratory intuitive movement digests and integrates meditative efforts, and flowers into Creative Unfolding. We conclude with Rest.
~ Turn away from the external and turn toward the internal, away from disembodiment and toward embodiment.
~ Turn toward awareness of breathing and motion, toward the sensation of skin and bone and fascia into an intimacy with self & Self and the joyful mysteries within Presentness.

“Dancemeditation is to the body what dreaming is to the mind.” —Dunya McPherson
