Dancemeditation™ Immersion Training

A Deepening Path into Embodied Presence & Practice

I invite you to join me here—whether you have walked a spiritual path for many years, or are newly listening for one. The Dancemeditation™ Immersion opens into a Sufi-rooted, embodied mysticism, where understanding arises through movement, attentive awareness, and presence. Together, we will gather in-person as a dedicated cohort across three retreats, supported between them by curated readings and Zoom gatherings. What is offered is not a method to master, but a living practice to enter, inhabit, and allow to unfold.
— Dunya McPherson, Dancemeditation™ Founder

Who This Training Is For

This immersion supports:

  • Practitioners wishing to deepen and stabilize their personal practice
  • Teachers and facilitators seeking to bring embodied spiritual material into their offerings
  • Those preparing to share Dancemeditation with their communities
  • Experienced practitioners desiring renewal, refinement, or re-rooting

No single outcome is required—participants are supported whether clarifying an existing offering or allowing a new one to emerge.

Integrated Learning

Throughout the Training Arc, learning is deepened and woven into daily life through periodic Zoom gatherings and curated readings between retreats. These provide ongoing support, helping participants integrate the work on multiple levels—embodied, relational, and reflective—including:

  • Embodied Dancemeditation practice rooted in Sufi spiritual energies and states
  • Cultivation of presence, witnessing, and attunement
  • The relationship between movement, subtlety, and inner listening
  • Guidance in moving from intuitive clarity and embodied knowing
  • The gradual evolution of self-trust
  • Ongoing reflection, inquiry, and communal support

Rather than separating practice from life, this training supports the weaving of Dancemeditation into how participants move, listen, teach, and live.

The Training Arc

The Immersion unfolds across three extended retreats, each in a distinct seasonal landscape. Each retreat invites the body and nervous system into different rhythms of attention, rest, and perception. The natural settings quietly inform the practice, offering conditions for solace, inspiration, and learning that arise through direct experience.
